London - Shirley Wyan Allen, age 80 passed away peacefully at her home on February 16, 2026. She was born on March 13, 1945 to Pinkney Wyan and Myrtle Lovelace Wyan.

Shirley was a graduate of Sue Bennett College and Union College and was a long time U.S. Federal Court employee. She was an avid golfer, tennis player and reader. She enjoyed time spent with friends and family as well as being a devoted parent and grandparent. Her compassion, independence and desire for self-betterment never wavered.

Shirley is survived by her son Berkley and wife Kim of London as well as grandchildren Elizabeth Allen and Samuel Allen. She is also survived by sister-in-law Peggy Buhl and nephews Mark Wyan, Eric Cooper, Shane Wyan and Chris French.

She was predeceased by her parents, and siblings Harold Edward Wyan, Peggy Cooper,

Charles Ray Wyan and Janet French.

The family would like to thank Ruby Barrett and Kayley Garlen for their love and care these last few years. The family would also like to thank House Rawlings Funeral Home for their service in our time of need.

A celebration of life for Shirley will follow at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Wigginton Cemetery in London, Kentucky.
