London - Shelby Jean Sizemore passed away at her home on Saturday, June 21, 2025. She was 88 years of age at the time of her passing. She was born on July 5, 1936 in Maplesville, Kentucky to William and Minnie Asher, both deceased. Shelby lived a life dedicated to her family and friends.

Shelby is survived by her daughter, Carla Ann Sizemore, and her two sons, James Sizemore and Shane Sizemore. In addition, she is survived by one granddaughter, Joie Danielle Hall and two great grandchildren, Tucker and Sara Hall. She was proceeded in death by one son, Carl Dean Sizemore, two brothers, Roy Asher & Jennings Asher and two sisters, Aileen Merida and Jewell Asher. In addition, she leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Shelby was a mother to four children and she was a beloved rural mail carrier for 20 years. She always spoke fondly about the many friends that she made on her mail route.

Shelby was known for her kindness, her personality, and determination. Above all, she took great pride in providing for her family and helping others when needed. She had a heart of gold and and touched countless lives. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

A funeral service honoring Shelby Jean Sizemore will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of House-Rawlings funeral home with James Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family has trusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
