London - Ruth Shoupe Holt, age 78, of London, Kenutucky passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

She leaves one son, Jerry Wayne Holt II; Son-in-Law, Bobby Brewer Sr., both of London, KY; one sister, Posie Conley; two grandchildren, Bobby Brewer Jr. & wife Brianna, Rebekah Holt Taylor & husband Chez; one great grandchild, Harper Jewell Holt Taylor; a very special nephew, Chantz McPeek; plus, a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ondie Shoupe & Nellie Curry Shoupe; her daughter, Tammy Lee Holt Brewer; six siblings, Homer Shoupe, McKinley Shoupe, Leslie Shoupe, Raymond Shoupe, Carl Shoupe, Gilbert Shoupe.

Ruth was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who leaves behind a legacy of kindness, service, and love that touched everyone who knew her.

Ruth was a loyal biscuit maker for Hardee's for 19 years, where her warm smile and dependable presence became a cherished part of many people's mornings. She also worked for American Greetings, bringing the same dedication and care to her work there as she did to every part of her life.

A faithful member of Day Spring Worship Center in Corbin, Ruth lived out her faith with a true servant's heart. She always put others before herself and found joy in giving, helping, and lifting up those around her.

Ruth enjoyed sewing, cooking, and caring for her family—her greatest priority and source of pride. She was compassionate, kind, and steady, offering comfort and love in every season of life.

Those who knew Ruth will remember her gentle spirit, her selflessness, and the way she lovingly made the world a better place.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

A funeral service honoring Ruth Shoupe Holt was held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Larry Paul Roark and Sammie Trosper officiating. Interment followed at Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky. The family entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
