East Bernstadt - Norma Jean Browning, age 79, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at her home in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. She was born on September 6, 1946 to the late Watt and Golden (Mays) Nantz.

Norma was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love for her family was evident in all she did. She cherished time spent with her loved ones and was deeply connected to her family roots. Her presence brought comfort and strength to those around her, and she will be remembered for her caring heart and gentle spirit.

She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Brandon McNew; and her siblings, Betty Allen and Jerry Nantz.

Norma is survived by her loving husband, Jason Browning; her son, Delane Browning and wife Vista of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; her siblings, Oma Combs and husband Conley of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, Sherry Garland and husband Danny and Gary Nantz and wife Carlene all of London, Kentucky; her grandchild, Duston McNew and wife Danielle of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; her great-grandchild, Eli McNew of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; her special niece, Sara Nantz of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; and her great-niece, Baxley Lady of Annville, Kentucky. She also leaves behind many other cherished family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at London Funeral Home, located at 879 South Main Street, London, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Paul Roark and Bro. Tim Roark officiating. Burial will follow at Nantz Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky.

Serving as pallbearers will be Darrell Combs, Jarred Nantz, Zach Lady, Jackie Ponder, Duston McNew, Zach Lawson, Josh Adams, and Michael Proffitt.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Maverick Jay Lady and Elliot Watt Lady.
