London - Mary Hale-Hundley, age 91, of London, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly.

Born on June 21, 1934, in Hyden, Kentucky, Mary was the daughter of the late Farmer and Linda (Johnson) Boggs. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, John Hale, who preceded her in death.

Mary was a devoted member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ and lived a life centered on faith, family, and quiet strength. She was known for her loving nature and the deep care she showed to those around her.

She leaves behind her son, Ricky Hale of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; her sisters, Ona Steele and husband Tony of Jennings, Florida, Eulah Walden and Evelyn Cornett, both of London, Kentucky; and her brother-in-law, Kenneth Proffitt of Ohio.

Mary was a proud grandmother to Tonya Hale and cherished her two great-grandchildren, Jaycee Hale and Elijah Hale. She also leaves to mourn a large and loving extended family, including eight nieces and nephews, thirteen great-nieces and nephews, and twenty-one great-great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Proffitt, and her brother, Earl Boggs.

She is also survived by her very special friends, Betty Jones and Linda Hill, whose friendship brought her comfort, joy, and countless cherished memories throughout her life.

Funeral services for Mary Hale-Hundley will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday in London Funeral Home Chapel with Brent Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Cornetts Chapel Cemetery in Annville, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM on Monday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Proffitt, Morgan Robinson, and Jake Gilbert.
