London - Juanita Melton, age 75, of London, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

She leaves behind four children, Shannon Melton & wife Sheila of London, KY, Davan Smith of London, KY, Jay Melton & wife Gail of Laurensburg, Nathan Melton of London, KY; ten grandchildren, Krystal Hutton, Jazmine Melton, Alex J. Melton, Mikayla Whitaker, Matthew Smith, James Geyer, Ashley Geyer, Kristen Geyer, Hunter Melton, Kyle Melton; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, J. D. Melton; her parents, Will & Maggie Adams Caudill; two children, Teresa Jent, Tonya Melton Geyer; and by two siblings, Dean Adams, Barbara Hampton.

Juanita was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy in life was caring for her home and those she loved. She took pride in creating a warm, welcoming place where family always came first.

She enjoyed shopping, especially trips to Marshalls, where she delighted in finding just the right treasure. Juanita also had a deep appreciation for beauty, particularly flowers, which brought her peace and joy.

Above all, Juanita will be remembered for her loving heart, her selflessness, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Her kindness and care will continue to live on in the lives of those who were blessed to know her.

A funeral service honoring Juanita Melton was held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Casey Hampton officiating. Interment followed at A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, Kentucky. The family entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
