James Allen Boggs was born November 23, 1956 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Troy Boggs and Mary Jane Larkey Boggs who survives of London, Kentucky. He was united in marriage to Betty Black Boggs who survives of London. He is also survived by his three children, Mary Jane Phillips and husband James of London, Jeremy James Boggs and wife Emmalee of Lexington, Kentucky, Nola Serber and husband Jeff of Versailles, Kentucky; two siblings, David Boggs of Frankfort, Kentucky and Rosemary Boggs of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren; Corinne Madison Phillips, Aiden Troy Phillips, Addison Jane Phillips, Hannah Grace Phillips, Shelby Rosalee Phillips, Riley Allen Phillips, Mary Jane Boggs, Troy Issac Boggs, David Walker, Eliza Woods, Preston Woods, Daniel Calia, and Jackson Calia; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
In addition to his father he is also preceded in death by his sister, Violet Sue Ward.
Memorial service for James Allen Boggs will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26th at Trinity Chapel Assembly of God in London, Kentucky with Charlie Combs officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to be made to Chad's Hope Adult Challenge of Kentucky.
