Imogene  Beckner
Imogene Kilburn Beckner was born on July 31, 1941, in Yeadiss, Kentucky.
She was the daughter of the late Waltis Kilburn and Doshia Lewis Kilburn.
She is survived by five children, Clestia (Dwayne) Millican of Chickamauga, Georgia; Renee (Dale) Rogers of London, Kentucky; Teresa Joslyn of Jacksonville Florida, Robert (Robin) Baker; Gary (Susan) Baker both of London; three siblings, Tiney Farris of Greenwood, Indiana; Josephine Cornett of White House, Tennessee; and Lorene Altizer of London; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by 10 siblings, Arville, Jessie, Basco, Carl Kilburn, Waltis Kilburn Jr., Marie Wells, Oma Hensley, Polly Wagers, Kathleen Stamper, and Jeweleen Slone.
Imogene was retired from the Laurel Cookie Factory and a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. She was a godly woman who loved to cook for her family and adored her children and grandchildren. She loved gardening, canning, reading her bible and going to her church.
Imogene Kilburn Beckner departed this life on Saturday, November 9, 2019 being 78 years, 3 months and 9 days of age.
Services were conducted 2 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2019, in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Brown officiating; burial followed at Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy.
