London - Gwendolyn Faye Harris, age 76, of London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

She leaves behind three children, Rachel Broughton & husband Michael, Tracy Root & husband Kevin, William Harris & wife Robin, all of London, KY; one sister, Brenda Day of Osgood, IN; five grandchildren, Morgan Knight & husband Tate, Peyton Broughton, Bailee Root, Lauren Root, Colton Harris; two great grandchildren, Lilah Knight & Willow Knight; her best friend, Norma Justice; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Holladay & Rachel Smallwood Morgan; three siblings, Charles Morgan, Donald Mosley, Carlon Sue Jones; one grandchild, Angel Baby Broughton; two great grandchildren, Angel Babies Knight.

Gwendolyn was a devoted homemaker and woman of deep faith. Her life was a beautiful reflection of dedication—to her home, to her loved ones, and to her Lord.

As a homemaker, Gwendolyn created a place of warmth and comfort for all who entered. She loved her family wholeheartedly and took immense pride in each of them. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren—her "grands and greats"—were the light of her life. She faithfully attended their sporting events and music recitals, cheering them on with joy and celebrating every accomplishment, big or small.

Gwendolyn loved going to church and was a faithful member of Faith Assembly of God. She loved the Lord, and her faith was the foundation of her life. Through worship, prayer, and fellowship, she found strength and purpose, and she shared that light with those around her.

She also cherished simple pleasures—family cookouts filled with laughter, time spent together around the table, and quiet moments enjoying a warm cup of coffee. These everyday joys were made special because she was surrounded by those she loved most.

Gwendolyn will be remembered for her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and the deep love she poured into her family. Her legacy lives on in the generations she adored and in the countless memories they will forever hold close to their heart.

A funeral service honoring Gwendolyn Faye Harris will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Rodney Goodlett and Vernon Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow at the McDaniel Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
