London - Eugene Napier, age 81, of London, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

He leaves behind four children, Lisa R. Perino & Jon Herst of Lexington, KY; Tasha Leann Casey & husband Travis of Corbin, KY, Briana Renee Tipton & husband Rodney of Corbin, KY, Stephen Lane Morris & wife Natalie of London, KY; fourteen grandchildren and great grandchildren, Brandon Perino & wife Caroline, Hailey Samples, Ethan Hovermale, Kali Samples, Kennedy Tipton, Madilynn Morris, Brayden Tipton, Max Morris, Whitley Tipton, Emmy Tipton, Lucy Casey, Julian Morris, Camden Herst, Kaylee Herst; three great, great grandchildren, Avery Samples, Owen Perino, Allen Samples; his honorary children, Paul Perino, Rachael Hovermale, Tasha Thompson; honorary brother, Steve Sweet; honorary sister, Faye Maxey; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kirby Napier; his parents, Floyd Willard Napier & Ada Adams Napier; his daughter, Regina Lynn Napier; and by two siblings, Earl Napier & Ethel Helton.

Eugene retired after many years of dedicated service as a diesel mechanic with Elmo Greer & Sons, where he was known for his knowledge, dependability, and strong work ethic. He took great pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.

Above all, Eugene loved his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, living his life with an open door and an open heart. His generosity and giving spirit touched the lives of many, and he never hesitated to be there for those who needed him.

In his free time, Eugene enjoyed watching Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball, keeping up with his favorite television shows, and simply spending time at home surrounded by those he loved most.

Eugene was blessed to see five generations of his family, a testament to the strong foundation of love and care he helped build. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service for Eugene Napier was held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Kyle Bargo officiating. Interment followed at A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, Kentucky. The family entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
