London - Eddie D. Peters, age 85, of London, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

He leaves behind two sisters, Kay DeLozier & Norma Burkhart, both of London, KY; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva "Geedle" Jody Peters; his parents, William W. Peters & Ruth Turner Peters; and by four siblings, Irma Taylor, William G. Peters, Jack Peters, Fern Anders.

Eddie leaves behind a legacy of hard work, faith, and laughter.

He dedicated 44 years of faithful service to Dickens Floor Covering, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in a job well done. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country with honor.

A man of deep faith, Eddie was a devoted member of St. Mark Catholic Church and St. William Catholic Church. His faith guided his life and was reflected in the kindness and generosity he showed to others.

Eddie found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved mowing his yard and tending to his garden, taking pride in keeping his property neat and beautiful. Known for his cheerful personality, Eddie always had a joke ready to share and could brighten any room with his jolly spirit and warm smile.

Most of all, Eddie treasured time spent with his family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories of his laughter, love, and unwavering presence.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Interment followed at St. Sylvester Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family entrusted House Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
