Bobby Gabbard Obituary

Bobby Samuel Gabbard, age 70, of London, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024. He was born on November 2, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Rev. Samuel E. Gabbard and Joyce Patton Gabbard. He was united in marriage to Sharon Ann Lawson Gabbard, who survives of London. He is also survived by two children, Robby Samuel Gabbard and wife Jessica of Corbin, and Gina Hill of Lexington, five grandchildren, Jaedon and Henry Gabbard, Charleigh Grace and Corey James Gabbard and Hayden Hill. He is also survived by a special aunt, Carol Jean Shepherd of London plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.

He retired from Flower's Bakery with 40+ years of service. He was a member of Dorthae Pentecostal Church. Bobby enjoyed painting cars, music, working in the Church audio department and spending time with his family and grandkids. He was a jack of all trades.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM Thursday, February 22, 2024, in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Evans and James Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at East Bernstadt.

The family will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 6 PM Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
