Charles Givens Riley Jr., age 76 of East Bernstadt, Ky, passed away on Monday, October 2 at his residence.
He leaves behind six children, Christine Riley of Charolette, N.C., Marcie Smith and husband Junior of East Bernstadt, Ky., Dwayne Riley of East Bernstadt, Ky., Jamane Riley and wife Bonnie of London, Ky., Terry Riley and wife Becky of London, Ky., Larry Sears of Richmond, Ky.; six siblings, Norma Riley of Winchester, Ky., Netta Williams of East Bernstadt, Ky., Gail Giggins of Lexington, Ky., Wayne Riley of East Bernstadt, Ky., Leslie Brown of Hyatteville, Md., Eddie Brown of Orlando, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson, Vanessa Jones and husband Josh, Jason Frazier, Markus Walker, Mathew Hibbard, Tasha Rouse, Aiden Duggar, Dwayne Riley Jr., Terrance Riley, Mariah Riley, Jamane Riley Jr., Jamie Riley, Orlando Riley, Harlie Riley; 13 great-grandchildren, Laberty Johnson, Jerniyah Johnson, Jermyra Johnson, Lyric Johnson, Dewey Riley, Jaylynn Riley, James Riley, Eli Riley, Sierra Frazier, Marcus Walker Jr., Neveah Riley, Gabrielle Riley; 10 nieces, Lanetta Carson, Latoya Brown, Teea Letha Fullen, Kimberly Allgood, Christine Riley, Shanika Riley, Satoyra Hill, Chantel Williams, Courtney Parker, Constance Parker; five nephews, William Carson, Rick Carson, Timothy Carson, Mark Carson, Gary Carson, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Givens and Rosetta Word Riley; one son, Orlando Riley; two sisters, Mary Elliott and Joyce Carson; and one grandson, Eric Johnson.
He was retired from working security, was employed with Shell Gas Station for over 10 years, and was of the Baptist faith. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral services for Charles Givens Riley Jr. will be conducted Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Elza and Bro. Dewey Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at the Pittsburg Cemetery. The family will begin to receive friends Friday, October 6, at 5 p.m., also at the funeral home.
