Zythel Lee Howard, 77, passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at his residence.
He was born on May 29, 1939, in Laurel County, Ky., the son of the late Garlin and Emma Davis Howard.
He is survived by one son, Robert Lee Howard of East Bernstadt; six siblings, Calvin D. Howard of Elgin, Okla., Lois Reynolds and husband, Ray, Loyd Howard, Reetta Jones and husband, Paul, Brenda Robinson and husband, Ronnie, and Teresa Reynolds and husband, David, all of East Bernstadt; two grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Ellis of Cincinnati, Ohio; plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Ellis.
He was a diesel mechanic, a member of River Hill Holiness Church and a member of E. T. Carson Lodge No. 0598 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral service for Zythel Lee Howard will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Robinson and the Rev. Robbie Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Howard Cemetery at East Bernstadt.
The family received friends after 6 p.m. Tuesday with Masonic services at 7 p.m.
