Walter Anderson Sherman Walter Anderson Sherman, 71, Corbin, Ky., passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Saint Joseph London. Born May 21, 2016, in Laurel County, Ky., he was the son of the late Walter Brock and Artie Evelyn Caudill Sherman. He was a retired Pepsi Cola employee, a retired member of the National Guard and affiliated with Potters House, Corbin. He is survived by his wife, Dora McDaniel Sherman, Corbin; four daughter, Debra Frazier of Middletown, Ohio, Linda Hoskins of London,  and Christina Gray and Cathy Maldonado, both of Corbin; four brothers, Scott Sherman, Wayne Sherman, Earl Sherman, and Joe Sherman, all of London;  three sisters, Sue Brummett, and Mary Simpson, both of London, and Evelyn Brummett of Manchester. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Henry Bernard Sherman; and by three siblings, Artie Sherman, Rosie Katherine Sherman, and James Sherman. Funeral service for Walter Anderson Sherman will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, March 18, in London Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Benge officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery with DAV Chapter 158, Keavy, in charge of military honors. Serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Wilson, Marty Storm, Floyd Frazier, Charles Simpson, Dan McDaniel, Steven Simpson, Brandon Caudill, and Robert Simpson. The family received friends after 6 p.m. Thursday, March 17, also at the funeral home.
