Rondal Clayton's Story
May 9, 1947 — March 22, 2017
Rondal Clayton Floyd, 69, husband of Karen (Parkinson) Floyd of London, Ky., passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Ky.
He was the father of Rondal Clayton Floyd II, Andrew Justin Floyd, and Ronda Denise McFadden all of London; the brother of Winford Floyd, and Frances Baxter both of London, LaVerne Floyd of Dadeville, Ala., Ona Mae York of Jellico, Tenn.; the step-father of Michael Peters of Hamilton, Ohio, Shannon Peters and Diana Sizemore both of London.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Andrew Floyd and Nellie Edith (Arthur) Floyd, and by two siblings, Lois Bunch and Lenore Durham.
He was retired from Flowers Bakery, was a United States Army veteran, and a member of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral service for Rondal Clayton Floyd was conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, in London Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Wilkerson officiating.
Burial followed at Floyd Cemetery with DAV Chapter 158, Keavy, in charge of military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to London Funeral toward funeral expense.
