Rev. Robert W.'s Story

Rev. Robert W. Fox, 80, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Saint Joseph London.
He was born on September 6, 1936, in Portageville, Mo., the son of the late Walter William and Janie Lee Holligan Fox.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Johnson Fox of East Bernstadt; two children, Vannetta Gentry of London and Robert A. Fox of Calcutta, Ga.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one grandchild.
He was retired from the Laurel County Board of Education, a minister and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Tree of Life Fellowship Church.
The family of the Rev. Robert W. Fox will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Friday, May 26.
Funeral service for Rev. Fox will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 27, in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with Brother Craig Thomas, Brother Anthony Keaton and Brother Floyd DeLoche officiating.
Burial will follow in the Old Casteel Cemetery at East Bernstadt.
Pallbearers will be Jim Perine, James Blanton, Robert Sizemore, Darrell Bryant, Harold Smith, Wesley Fugate, Kenneth Lawson, Tony Radford, Willard Radford, John Wilder, and Chris Lipps.
