Raymond Lee Wyan Raymond Lee Wyan, 73, London, Ky., passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, at Baptist Health Corbin. A Laurel County native, he was born June 22, 1942, the son of the late Kermit Roosevelt and Hazel Sparks Wyan. He retired from the United States Air Force and was affiliated with the Church of God in Jesus Name. Survivors include his wife, Tennessee (Hess) Wyan of London; a daughter, Tina Frye of London; four sons, Robert Lee Wyan of London, Christopher Wyan of Parsons, Kan., Walter Wyan of Anderson, S.C., and David Wyan of North Vernon, Ind.; three brothers, Dozier Wayne Wyan of Utah, Harold Eugene Wyan and Donald Edward Wyan both of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Michael Frye; and by four brothers and a sister. Funeral service for Raymond Lee Wyan was conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 14, in London Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Paul Roark officiating. Burial followed at Lickliter Cemetery with DAV Chapter 158, Keavy, in charge of military honors. Serving a pallbearers were Christopher Wyan, Kevin Wyan, Travis Wyan, Darrell Burdine, Lane Hale, Bill Hess and Rick Hess. Honorary pallbearers were Crystal Anders, Ashley Wyan and Kylee Wyan. The family of Raymond Lee Wyan received friends at London Funeral Home after 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 13.
