Randy "Pork" Proffitt, 50, London, Ky., passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Saint Joseph London.
He was born on September 4, 1965, in Whitley County, Ky., the son of Earl Proffitt, who survives of London, and the late Jackie Barrett Proffitt.
He is also survived by four children, Jeremy Proffitt and wife, Molly, and Brandi Hoskins and husband, Logan, all of Annville, Brittany Montgomery and husband, Matt, of Tyner and Fischer Proffitt of London, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
He was a member of Carmichael Community Church.
Funeral service for Randy "Pork" Proffitt will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Dyche officiating.
Burial will follow in the Slate Hill Cemetery, London.
Pallbearers will be Sam Baldwin, Bill Cook, Mark Smallwood, Greg Smallwood, Joe Elza and Rick Proffitt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Stansbury, Kip Jervis, Billy Madden and Jim Young.
Visitation was after 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, also at Bowling Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
