Marshall ‘Snowball’ Phillips Marshall “Snowball” Phillips, 80, of London, Ky., husband of Bobbie Phillips, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Ky. Along with his loving wife of 57 years, he leaves behind two children, Richard “PeeWee” Phillips and Marsha Cross and husband Danny, both of London; three grandchildren, Shawn Marshall Phillips and wife Kortnee, Whitney Schumacher and husband Chris and Wesley Phillips and girlfriend Erin Lawton; two great-grandchildren, Laylee and Adyson Phillips, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Sally Phillips; two sons, Charlie and Mike Phillips and five siblings, Susie Mintkenbaugh, Nellie Walden, Chester Ray Phillips, John D. Phillips and Marietta Phillips. He was self-employed in the field of construction, a Mason and Shriner with the CD Ward Lodge, member of The Creek Church of London and loved and adored his family and friends. Funeral service for Marshall “Snowball” Phillips will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 11, at The Creek Church with Pastor Trevor Barton officiating. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park, London. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. until the funeral hour, also on Friday at The Creek Church.
