Margie Ann's Story
Margie Ann Johnson Baker, 57, wife of Arvil Baker of London, Ky., passed away Friday, July 29, 2016, at her residence.
She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, and was an administrative assistant for Southeastern Kentucky Crime Lab, and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was the mother of Amanda Waterstrat and husband Ford of London; the sister of Francis Cornett of Connersville, Ind., Ella Mae Cornett and Millie Cornett, both of Hamilton, Ohio, Butch Johnson of Fairfield, Ohio, Willie E. Johnson of London, and Sharon Harwood of Somerset; and the grandmother of three.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Johnson and Daisy Philpot Johnson; and a brother, Gilbert Johnson.
The family of Margie Ann Johnson Baker received friends at London Funeral Home from 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, until the 1 p.m. funeral hour with Luke Post and Aaron DeGough officiating.
Burial followed at New Salem Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Butch Johnson, Willie E. Johnson, Arlie Baker, Ova Baker, Otis Baker, Owen Baker, Earl Wakerly and Caleb DeGough.
