Lorene Harville Killion Lorene Harville Killion, 81, Laurel County, Ky., passed away Monday, Feb. 29, 2016. She was born on December 9, 1934 in Laurel County, Ky., the daughter of the late Winford and Nellie Edwards Harville. She was united in marriage first to Earl Chaney and second to Roscoe Killion who both preceded her in death. She is survived by six children, Barry Chaney and wife Kim, Charlotte Hale and husband Roger, Betty Gray and husband Bill and Connie Arthur and husband Dwayne, all of London, Brenda Collett and husband, Grant, of Corbin and Donna Hamilton and husband Dean of Keavy; four step-children, Eddie, Mark and Rick Killion and Vickie Hooker; a brother, Lonnie Harville and wife Charlotte; five sisters, Jean Rogers, Bonnie Johnson, Gracie Crane and Doris Williams and husband Willie, all of London and Lois Price and husband Alonzo of Taylorsville, Ky.; her grandchildren, Lesley Ooten, Stefanie Arnold, Stacy McClure, Leighann Corey, Sonia Collett, Jana Felts, Amanda Howard, Kelly Bennett, Terri Mason, Rachel Roark, Christy Goodin, Angela Champlin, Kaleb Hamilton, Miranda Lewis, Chelsea, Whitney and Zach Wilt; and 28 great-grandchildren plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Besides her parents and husbands she was also preceded in death by five siblings, David Lee, Coleman, and Marie Harville, Roberta Burns and Bessie Miller. She was a former employee of American Greeting Company and was a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church. Funeral service for Lorene Harville Killion was conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Bowling Funeral Home with Jabe Smith and Vernon Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Laurel County. Pallbearers will be Kaleb Hamilton, Ethan Lewis, Derrick Bennett, Wes Ooten, Lyle McClure, Adam Felts, Paul Keith Johnson and Rick Killion. The family received friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
