Kimberly Bales Ayers Kimberly Bales Ayers, 47, wife of Junior Ayers, of Lafollette, Tenn., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at Tennova Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. She was the mother of Shawn and wife, Angie (Patton) Bales and the grandmother of Landon and Connor Bales, all of London. She was the daughter of Ellis and Barbara (Bailey) Bales of East Bernstadt; sister of Tim and wife Elizabeth Bales of London; the aunt of, Byron Bales and Kendra Bales. Kimberly is also survived by her beloved aunts, Brenda and her husband Bobby of Somerset, and Carolyn and her husband Chan of London; and by her uncle, Bobby and his wife Penny of East Bernstadt. She was also blessed with many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Bales; her maternal grandparents, B.F. and Corrine (Collins) Bailey, and her paternal grandparents, Adison and Mary Bales. The funeral service for Kimberly Bales Ayers was conducted in the London Funeral Home chapel at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, with Pastor Jerry Lewis and Bill Mays officiating. Burial followed in the Snuffer Cemetery. Pallbearers were Shawn Bales, Bobby Bailey, Bobby Deibel, Jim Thompson, Kendra Bales, Byron Bales, and Cody Burke. The family received friends at London Funeral Home after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to London Funeral Home.
