Karen Ann's Story

Karen Ann Cooper Minton, 77, of London, Ky., wife of Gene "Rooster" Minton, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly.
Along with her loving husband, she leaves behind two daughters, Wanda Minton of London, Sherri Arnold of Crown Point, Ind.; two siblings, Tom Cooper and wife Marcy of Highland, Ind., Bev Poynter and husband Bob of Renssalear, Ind.; sisters-in-law, Carol Cooper of Hammond, Ind., Irene Burns of London; three grandchildren, Krysta Cedano, Chadd Arnold, Tyler Minton; one great-grandchild, Jose Daniel Cedano; her little dog, Princess, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Garnet Horn Cooper and one brother, James Cooper.
She was a retired factory worker, a business owner and member of Calvary Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Funeral service for Karen Minton was conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 3, in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Minton Cemetery.
The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Friday, June 2, also at the funeral home.
