Judy Louise's Story

Judy Louise Parker, 64, Laurel County, departed this life on Thursday, June 29, 2017.
She was born on May 16, 1653 in Harlan County, Ky., the daughter of the late James and Edith Bentley Starks.
She was united in marriage to Jerry Dean Parker who survives. She is also survived by two children, Joshua Matthew and wife Laura and Crystal Lynn Parker, both of East Bernstadt; three sisters, Geneva Couch and husband Harold of Harlan, Ky., Betty Dotson and husband Jerry of London, and Diana LaPointe and husband Fred of Sycamore, Ga.; two brothers, Ronnie Starks and wife Connie and Bill Starks and wife Sheila, all of London; five grandchildren, Taylor Dawn, Jadyn Mackenzie, Chase and Wesley Parker and Toby Brummett, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother, James Starks, Jr.
She was a former employee of East Bernstadt Independent School and was affiliated with the Philpot Chapel Baptist Church.
Funeral service for Judy Louise Parker was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 1 in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with James Allen and Charlie Helton officiating.
Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, East Bernstadt.
Visitation was held at 6 p.m. Friday, June 30, also at the funeral home.
