Jesse Keller, 89, London, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016.
He was born on April 1, 1927 in Laurel County, Ky., the son of the late Charlie and Sarah Wilson Keller. He was united in marriage to Wilma McQueen who also preceded him in death.
He is survived by three children, David Keller and wife Dawn of Charleston, S.C., Debbie Martin and husband Bert and Sandra Barton. all of London; 12 grandchildren, Shawn Barton (Melanie), Shelli Brown (Jason), Tessa Barton, Rebecca Brannon (Russ), Danielle Lowell (Brandon), Glen Keller (Kimberly), Kendra Keller, Kyle Keller (Makenzie), Todd Martin (Jewell), Tracy Kerley (Matt), Justin Martin (Kelsey), and Brett Martin (Lindsey).
He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, Kelsey House, Emma Barton, Megan and Jacob Brown, Emerson and Keller Lowell, Avery Dearie, Bailey, Andrew, Bella, Audrey, Amelia, Gracie and Abram Martin, Silas and Tycho Kerley plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Besides his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Carl and Eldon Keller and a beloved cousin, Alfred Keller.
He was a veteran of the US Navy and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held at Bowling Funeral Home beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16.
Funeral service for Mr. Keller will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home with Dr. Andrew Dyer and Brother Ken Felty officiating.
Burial will follow in Swiss Colony Cemetery, Laurel County.
