James Kermit Hinkle, 78, of London, Ky., husband of Daisy Hinkle, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
Along with his loving wife, he leaves behind two children, Lisa Minton and husband Robert and Lori Hinkle, all of London; three siblings, Ronnie Hinkle and wife Carolyn, Jewell Hammons and Julie "Tootsie" Jones, all of London; three grandchildren, Hannah, Haiden and Holli Hinkle; one great-grandson, Vincent Tyler, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Hinkle and Lucy Boone Hinkle; two sons, James David and Donnie Lee Hinkle and seven siblings, Opal Linville, Helen Williams, Muhaska Floyd, Norma Jean Neeley, Leander Floyd, Odell Hinkle and H.E. Hinkle.
He was a retired truck driver with Flowers Bakery, attended Sinking Creek Baptist Church and loved and cherished his family and friends.
Funeral service for James Kermit Hinkle will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Brother Delmer Gross and Brother Mike Seals officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dunn Cemetery.
The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, also at the funeral home.
