Irene Durham's Story

Irene "Bootie" Dugger, 82 of London, wife of Johnny Dugger, passed away on Friday, Jan. 20, at her residence.
Along with her loving husband of 65 years, she leaves behind five children, Betty Parker, Charlotte Harris, David Dugger and wife Letisha, Patricia Johnson and husband Curtis, Johnny Wayne Dugger and wife Regina, all of London; 11 grandchildren, Matt and Wes Parker, Amanda Sprinkles, Charlene Mounts, Wayne Harris, John David Dugger, Dreama Wright, David Cody Dugger, Jeffrey Dugger, Justin Johnson, Jon Cole H. Dugger; 11 great-grandchildren, Zach, Austin, Adison, Angelina, Conner, Weslyn, Trevin, Taylor, Tori, Ayden, John Douglas; special niece, Ruth Ann Pennington, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Mattie Taylor and nine siblings, Melda Cupp, Pauline Lee, Rubie Baker, Fred Taylor, John Taylor, Herbert Taylor, Everett Taylor, Tom Taylor Jr. and Ellis Eugene Taylor.
She was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith and was loved and adored by all who knew her.  She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services for Irene "Bootie" Dugger were conducted on Monday, Jan. 23, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Ronnie Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery. The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, also at the funeral home. Pallbearers were Wes Parker, Matt Parker, Jeff Dugger, Justin Johnson, Cody Dugger, Austin Sprinkles.  Honorary Pallbearers include: John Cole Dugger, Adison Sprinkles, Marc Smith.
