Henry Rudder, 75, London, Ky., passed away on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016.
He was born on April 10, 1941, in Clay County, Ky., the son of the late Sam and Grace Lawson Rudder.
He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Nelson Rudder, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by three children, Margaret Lynn Buttery of Sylva, N.C., Brenda Lee Rudder and Henry Dewayne Rudder and wife, Tabitha, all of East Bernstadt; six sisters, Ethel Webb, Janet Brown, Barbara Rudder, Linda Greer and Patricia Howard, all of London, and Carol Brandenburg of East Bernstadt; a brother, Hance Rudder of London.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Tiffany Isaacs, Teya Rudder, Sarah Beth Bryant, Kaitlin Rudder and Brandi Rudder; three great-grandchildren, Mazzy Rudder, Brianna Isaacs and Nevaeh Rush, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn is passing.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ann Rudder, Laura Bowling and Ruth Hammons and two brothers, Burchell and Lowell Rudder.
He was a truck driver for Laurel Grocery Company and a member of Harvest Time Pentecostal Church.
Funeral service for Henry Rudder will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Richardson, Bobby Mullins, Jonathan Sizemore and Henry Dewayne Rudder officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery at East Bernstadt.
The family of Henry Rudder received friends after 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, also at the funeral home.
