Gracie Dean Arnett Marcum Gracie Dean Arnett Marcum, 91, of Elk Creek, Clay County, Ky.,  passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at her home. She was a member of the Big Creek Holiness Church. Ms. Marcum is survived by her children, Roy Marcum of Bristol, Tenn., Herman Marcum and wife Sophie, Shirley Bush and husband Freddy, Brenda Turner and husband Darrell, Ricky Marcum and wife Martha Sue, all of Elk Creek, Clay County,  Bobby Marcum and wife Glinda of Island Creek, Clay County, and Donnie Marcum and wife Karen of East Bernstadt. She also leaves her grandchildren, Robbin Johnson, Roy Marcum Jr. Tammy Lawson, Robert Marcum, Randy Marcum, Holly Lewis, Sherry Whitaker, Carey Bowling, Michelle Jones, Melody Collins, John Turner, Deshawna Steele, Amanda Bowling and 22 great-grandchildren. A special friend and long time caregiver Frieda Lawson also survives. Ms. Marcum was preceded in death by her husband Alfred “Al” Marcum; her parents Andy and Rachel Arnett; five brothers; five sisters and four grandchildren. Funeral service for Ms. Gracie Marcum will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at the Big Creek Holiness Church with Sill Lee, Jerry Holland, Jerry Mckinley Holland, Everett Potter, Billy Ledford and Bobby Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Al Marcum Cemetery at Elk Creek. Visitation was after 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel, Manchester, Ky.
