Georgia Mills, 81, of London, Ky., widow of Clyde Mills, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY.
She leaves behind four children, Patricia Adams and husband Dewayne, Linda Nicholson and husband Jimmy, Barbara Powell and husband Clifton, and Michael Mills and wife Ashley, all of London; son-in-law, Johnny Shell; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Ada Trent Abner; a daughter, Juanita Shell; seven siblings, Lewis, Walter, Chris and Jack Abner, Geneva Valentine, Nannie Blevins, Lucy Trent; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Funeral service for Georgia Mills was conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23, in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Wayne House, Eugene Gentry and Mann Cobb officiating.
Burial followed in the Nicholson Cemetery.
The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, also at the funeral home.
