Ezekias ‘Zeke’ Adams Ezekias “Zeke” Adams, 73, of London, Ky., passed away Saturday. Oct. 31, 2015, at his residence. He was a plumber, member of the Gospel Tabernacle of Pittsburg and loved and cherished his family and friends. He leaves behind his loving wife, Phyllis McKnight Adams; three children, Steve Adams and wife Chelsie of London, Trish Jones and husband Dean of London, Brian Adams and wife Emily of Chesapeake, Va.; two sisters, June Overbey, and Sue Wilson; five brothers, Clarence, John, Carl, Elmon and Dean Adams; two grandchildren, Glenn Brewer and Alana Adams; and two great-grandchildren, Kendall and Aubrey Brewer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Francis Adams; four brothers, Leonard “Preacher”, Ross, Randall and George Adams; and one grandchild, Westley Brewer. Funeral service for Ezekias “Zeke” Adams was conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Johnny and Cecil Benge officiating. Burial followed in the Lickliter Cemetery, Laurel County. Pallbearers were John Sergent, Terry Adams, Mark Adams, Joe Shelton, Darrell Taylor, Jimmy McKnight, and Ben Sellards. The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, also at the funeral home.
