Dr. Edward C.'s Story
Dr. Edward C. Lauber, 80, of London, Ky., passed away on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Barbourville Nursing and Rehab in Barbourville, Ky.
He leaves behind three children, Timothy Edward Lauber and wife Donna of Los Angeles, Calif., Dr. David J. Lauber and wife Janie of London, and Debbie Lane and husband Bruce, also of London; a brother, Burtus Lauber of Florida; four grandchildren, Daniel, Lindsay, Christopher and Nicholas Lauber, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lee Lauber and parents, Edward and Francis Lauber.
He was a retired medical doctor having graduated from the Cornell Medical School, the Wheaton College and serving his residency with the Henry Ford Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and of the Protestant faith. He will forever be loved and greatly missed by all.
Funeral service for Dr. Edward C. Lauber will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Lynn Dotson and Tim Dyche officiating.
Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park, London.
The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, also at the funeral home.
