Donald Roland "Cowboy" Sevier, 77, of London, Ky., passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Ky.
He was the father of Jeffrey Sevier and wife Missy of Loveland, Ohio and Mark Sevier and Kim of Xenia, Ohio; the brother of, Delmas Sevier and wife Christine of Maineville, Ohio, Delmar Sevier and wife Jina of Florence, Ky., Lois Johnson of Somerset, Doris Wotring of Kokomo, Ind., Sue Sevier, Sharon Sevier, and Deborah Dorn and husband Jim, all of London, and Carolyn Pennington and husband Larry of Corbin.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Megan Barrett and husband Andy of Bethel, Ohio, and Miranda Sevier of Georgetown, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Sevier and Eula Adkins Sevier; by a daughter, Darlene Renee Sevier; and brother, Doyle Sevier.
He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral service for Donald Sevier was conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, in London Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Wickham and Jim Dorn officiating.
Burial followed at Merrimac Cemetery with DAV Chapter 158, Keavy, in charge of military honors.
The family received friends from 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, until the 1 p.m. funeral hour, also at the funeral home.
