Donald (Robby) Robinson, 83, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 in London, Ky.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Ruthena (Smith) of 34 years, four caring daughters, Vickie Bryant, Denise Parran, Donna Cheatham and Teresa Whelpley; three brothers; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mac Sr. and Ura Lois Robinson; and two brothers, Mac Jr. and Glenn Robinson; and one sister, Jo Ann Portword.
Donald worked as a body mechanic for Crown, Cork and Seal in Cincinnati, Ohio for 38 years.
He was an active Mason and a 32nd degree of the Scottish Rite.
He received the 2002 Outstanding Shriner of the Year (Suwannee River Shrine Club) and the Standing Tall award for outstanding support of the Shriner Hospital for Children. During retirement, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Donald was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service for Donald Robinson will be held on September 30, at 1 p.m. at Dunn Cemetery, Sinking Creek Road, London, with the Reverend John Burkhart officiating.
Arrangements are by Bowling Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectively requests donations be made to Shriner Hospitals for Children or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
