Dave Sharp, 54, London, Ky., passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016.
He was born on November 9, 1961, in Pineville, Ky., the son of the late Bud and Dorothy Warfield Sharp. He was united in marriage to Ronda Stewart Sharp, who survives of London.
He is also survived by five children, Emily, Annie, David, Mary Jane and Jenny Sharp, all of London; six siblings, Dolly Cress of Kalamazoo, Mich., Danny Sharp of Independence, Ky., Betty Anderson of Wichita, Kan., Rose Osborne of Fort Smith, Ark., Wanda Turner-Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Peggy Lewis of Yeaddiss, Ky., plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sharp and a brother, Donnie Sharp.
He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky, a respiratory therapist, the owner of Mid-America Sleep Affiliates, manager of the Sleep Disorder Centers at Saint Joseph London and a member of Souls Harbor Church.
Funeral service for Dave Sharp will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 20, in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Ball officiating.
Burial will follow in the McFarland Cemetery at Corbin.
The family will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home from 11 a.m. on Monday until the funeral hour of 1 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Millett, Derek Turner, James Cress, Danny Sharp, Dwight Lewis, and Mike Cress.
Memorial contributions are suggested to a scholarship fund for Dave's children at Hometown Bank.
