Crystal Gail's Story
Crystal Gail Neal-Shotton, 37, of London, Ky., and formerly of Stoney Fork, Ky., passed away Sunday Aug. 14, 2016, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the Rev. Curtis J. Neal and Juanita (Siler) Neal of London; the sister of Samantha Kay Neal-Benge and husband the Rev. Johnny Ray Benge, and Angelica Rose Neal-Saylor and husband Brandon Sim Saylor, all of London; and the granddaughter of Henry Neal of Mount Sterling, Ky.
She is also survived by a precious niece, Kimberly Grace; two wonderful nephews, Aidan Riley and Josiah Brandon Saylor; by her mother-in-law, Reba Shotton; by her sister-in-law, Leigh Shotton; and a host of other relatives and friends that will sorely mourn her passing.
She was a proud member of Stoney Fork United Methodist Church and honorably served our country in the United States Navy.
She was preceded in death by her husband of eight years, Jeffrey Roy Shotton; by her grandmothers, Pauline Neal and Naydean Siler; by her uncle, Robert Gene "Seed" Siler; and by her father-in-law, Lee Roy Shotton.
Memorial service for Crystal Gail Neal-Shotton will be conducted 4 p.m. Friday Aug. 19, in London Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Benge officiating with a private military ceremony to follow at Taylor Cemetery with DAV Chapter 158, Keavy, in charge of military honors.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service time on Friday also at the London Funeral Home.
