Coy Whittemore Coy  Whittemore, 68, of Trenton, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Friday, March 25, 2016, at 3:20 a.m. He was born in East Bernstadt, Ky., on November 15, 1947 the son of Elmer and Frances (Lewis) Whittemore. Coy owned and operated his own construction business for 30 years.  He was a Baptist minister for 30 years and pastored at Franklin Street Baptist Church and also in East Bernstadt, Ky. On January 29, 1965 in East Bernstadt, Ky. he married Zella Hensley. He is survived by wife, Zella Whittemore of Trenton, Ohio; two daughters, Angie Smith of Trenton, Ohio, and Anita (John) Hensley of Fairfield, Ohio; nine siblings, Joan (Ernie) Trinchler, Lois Williams, Virginia Eversole, Wayne (Linda) Whittemore, Carl (Joan) Whittemore, Odell (Connie) Whittemore, Carolyn Galloway, Larry Whittemore, and Bobby Ray Whittemore; step brother, Kelly (Cheryl) Reynolds; step sister, Della (Calvin) Delph; three grandchildren, Steven (Morgan) Hensley, Nathan Smith, and Michaelia (Donald) Dozier; one great granddaughter, Jasmine Dozier; a very special niece, Misty Mathews; and numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Sally and Elmer Lee Whittemore. Funeral service was held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, March 28, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial followed at Butler County Memorial Park.  Visitation was held on Monday  from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
