Conward Earl Abbott Conward Earl Abbott, 85, of London, Ky., husband of Marlene Abbott, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2015, at Willows of Hamburg in Lexington, Ky. Along with his loving wife, he leaves behind two children, Dan E. Abbott and wife Diane of Lexington, and Donna Robinson and husband Howard of Haines City, Fla.; four grandchildren, Shannon Abbott Robinson and husband Seth, Amy Abbott Cornell and husband Phillip, Quincy Robinson and wife Becky, and Corey Robinson; three great-grandchildren, Hadley and Noah Robinson and Natalie Cornell, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Missouri Abbott and two sisters, Edis Abbott Farr and Ruth Abbott Caughron. He was a salesman for Wholesale Hardware, veteran of the United States Army, 32nd degree mason of the McKee Lodge No. 144 F.&A.M., Shriner, member of First Baptist Church of London and loved and cherished his family and friends. Funeral service for Conward Earl Abbott was conducted on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Jerry Wright officiating. Burial followed in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park will full military honors presented by the local DAV, Chapter 158. The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, also at the funeral home. Masonic service was held at 7 p.m., also on Friday by the McKee Lodge No. 144 F.&A.M. Condolences may be shared with the family online at houserawlings.com.
