Cleveland's Story

Cleveland Wyatt, 89, London, Ky., passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016.
He was born on June 12, 1927 in Laurel County, Ky., the son of the late Arthur and Pearl Hubbard Wyatt.
He was united in marriage to Mildred Jones who also preceded him in death.
He is survived by one son, Ronnie Wyatt and wife Andrea of Lakeland, Fla.; two sisters, Pauline Hatfield of West Harrison, Ind., and Norma Jean Snell of Walton, Ky.; five grandchildren, Monique Wyatt Brooks, Ryan, Jeremie and Adam Wyatt and Sarah Thompson; eight great-grandchildren, Blade and Storm Brooks, Jordan, Walker, Jackson and Olivia Wyatt, Alexis and Aaliyah Thompson, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Besides his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, George Wyatt.
He was a retired vocational teacher with the Laurel County High School and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Graveside service and burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Rough Creek Cemetery in London with Ronnie Owens officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour also on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the Rough Creek Cemetery Fund — in care of Deverle Humfleet, 947 Laurel Road, London, KY 40744.
