Charles G. Combs, 77 of London, Ky., husband of Ena Chesnut Combs, passed away on Saturday, November 18 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
Along with his loving wife of 56 years, he leaves behind four siblings: Mildred Hall of Ft. Myers, Fla., Diana Gross of Booneville, Ky., Ena Grace Combs Keith of Villa Hills, Ky., Kenneth Combs of Russell Springs, Ky.; two grandchildren, Emily Siler, Trent Abner; three great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Hadley Siler, Micah Deaton, plus a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Anita Combs Abner and parents, Henry and Etta Belle Turner Combs.
He was a retired tool and die maker, of the Baptist faith and was loved and cherished by all of his family and friends.
Funeral services for Charles G. Combs will be conducted on Wednesday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery. The family received friends after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the London-Laurel Co.
