Betty Lockaby's Story
Betty Lockaby Robinson, 78, of London, Ky., widow of Eugene Robinson, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at Continue Care Hospital in Corbin, Ky.
She leaves behind one son, Wayne Robinson and wife Hermina of London; three siblings, Faye Sullivan of Lily, Paul "Butch" Lockaby of London, and Roy Lockaby of Hamilton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Adam Robinson of Hazard, Annah Robinson Lay and husband Ed of London, and Benjamin Robinson and wife Lauren of Akron, Ohio; two great-grandsons, Edward James Lay V, and Elliot Vann Lay, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Robinson and parents, Bert M. and Lula Lockaby.
She was a homemaker, and of the Pentecostal faith. She was loved and adored by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends at House-Rawlings Funeral Home beginning at 12 noon on Friday, Nov. 11, until the 2 p.m. funeral hour with Alan Steely officiating.
Burial will follow in the Robinson Cemetery.
