Beatrice Owens Bales Beatrice Owens Bales, 95, of Keavy Road, London, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. Born in Elk Valley, Tenn., Jan. 1, 1920, she was the daughte rof the late John and Louisa Blankenship Owens. She was a homemaker and member of Church of God in Jesus Name. She is survived by two sons, Harold Bales and wife Carolyn and Richard Bales and wife Laura, both of London., She is also survived by six grandchildren, Stephen Bales, Donna Baldwin, Mike Bales, Cindy Rader, Andy Bales, and Joshua Bales; seven great-grandchildren; Rachel Doughty, Cole Bales, Kaleb Bales, Clay Bales, Cash Bales, and Cassidy Bales, and Jessica Baldwin Driver, and by a daughter-in-law, Gail Bales. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Bales; a son, Ronnie Bales; and her siblings, Ellie Broyles, Ailene Fain, Rose Terrell, George Owens, Lolen Owens, and Ulas Owens. Funeral service for Beatrice Owens Bales will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, in London Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Paul Roark and Brother Rob Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Bales, Mike Bales, Andy Bales, Joshua Bales, Paul Rader, and Glen Baldwin. The family received friends after 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home.
