Barbara Ann's Story

Barbara Ann Parker, 64 of London, Ky., wife of James D. Parker, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at her residence.
Along with her loving husband of 35 years, she leaves behind four children, James Anthony Parker and wife Annie and Trish Minton, both of London, Michael Southard of Stanford, Ky., and Randy Parker of Corbin; special puppy, Sassy; seven siblings, Margie Adams of London, Clayton Hollingsworth and wife Vina, of London, Christine Ward of Stanford, Ky., Norma Perry of London, Junior Hollingsworth and wife Linda of London, Pauline Laliberte and husband Roger of Florida, and Carolyn Kruspe and husband Bob of London.
She was also survived by six grandchildren, Christopher Parker and wife Kayla, Megan Parker, Kendra Parker, Gage Southard, Tara Minton, and Haley Minton; one great-grandson, Gunner Blake Parker; sisters-in-law, Shirley and Blanche Hollingsworth, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Hollingsworth and Ella Hicks Rice; stepfather, Harvey Rice; and two brothers, Arie and Ernest Hollingsworth.
She was a retired housekeeper and patient transporter with Saint Joseph London, and of the Holiness faith.
She will forever be remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
The family of Barbara Ann Parker will receive friends on Wednesday, June 14, in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home beginning at 12 noon until the 2 p.m. funeral hour with Pastor Dan Collard officiating.
Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park, London.
