Audrey Howard Audrey Howard, 87, of East Bernstadt, Ky., widow of James H. Howard, passed away on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at her residence. She leaves behind four children, Peggy Chesnut and husband Elmo of East Bernstadt, Vernon Ray Howard and late wife Kelly of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., Mark David Howard and wife Debra Charlene of London, and James Barry Howard and wife Rita of East Bernstadt; a sister, Mary Rose of Indianapolis, Ind.; a brother, Larry Masters of East Canton, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Frankie Chesnut, Randy Chesnut, Stanley Chesnut, Jerry Howard, Lisa Chesnut, James Howard, Justin Howard, Marcus Howard; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Howard; parents, John Franklin and Rachel Masters; and three siblings, Betty Burkhart, Stella Say and Jerry Masters. She was a homemaker, a member of East Bernstadt Church of God and loved and cherished her family and friends. Funeral service for Audrey Howard will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, at East Bernstadt Church of God with Pastor Eric Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the C.D. Ward Cemetery, Laurel County. The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, at House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared with the family online at houserawlings.com.
