Alfred Addison Medley Jr. Alfred Medley Jr., 86, of Jamestown Estates London, Ky.,  passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at Saint Joseph London. Born Dec. 27,  1928 in Pittsburg, Ky., he was the son of the late Alfred Addison Medley Sr., and Maggie Frye Medley. He was a minister of the Pentecostal faith and attended First Pentecostal Church, London. He was also a barber, United States Air Force veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Newport, Ky. He was the father of Alfred Anthony “Tony” Medley, Kevin Brock Medley, Lionel Dean “Ugg” Medley, and James Harrison Eggers, all of London, Theresa “Sissy” Yovvene Cotten of Somerset, and Joseph Michael Eggers of Hollywood, S.C. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mossie Clark Medley; a daughter, Theresa Kay Blackburn; his brothers and sisters, Penny Robinson, Gladys Medley, Elvie Onkst, Billy Medley, Bobby Medley, Gordon Medley, and Ellis Medley. Memorial service for Alfred Medley Jr. was conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Helton and Harold Robinson officiating. The family received friends from 11 a.m. on Monday, until the 1 p.m. service time.
