Alberta Alice's Story

Alberta Alice Osborne, 85, of London, Ky., widow of Leonard Osborne, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly.
She leaves behind three children, Gail Gilbert and husband Larry, Mary Henderson and husband Daniel, and Gary Osborne and wife Anissa, all of London; daughter-in-law, Sandra Osborne of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; two siblings, Charles Foster and wife Carolyn of Nortonville, Ky., and Kay Smith of Hartford, Ky.; six grandchildren, Kevin Gilbert, Kelli Smith, Kristie Cochrane, Kara Townsend, Leslie Wyatt, and Brittiany Taylor, plus several great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Osborne; a son, John Osborne and her parents, Claude and Mable Uzzle Foster.
She was a retired factory worker and member of Calvary Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
Funeral service for Alberta Alice Osborne was conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 11 in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Bill Mays officiating.
Burial followed in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Kevin Gilbert, Rob Smith, Barry Cochrane, Jeff Wyatt, Chance Wyatt and Cam Wyatt.
The family received friends after 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, also at the funeral home.
